Who?

Adults interested in playing band instruments.  No experience required. Typical instruments are flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, percussion.

 

What?

Weekly group instruction.  The program at UM Frost follows the philosophy of the New Horizons International Music Association, comprised of over 200 amateur bands and orchestras, with over 9500 members in 8 countries.

Where?

Classrooms in the Frost School of Music on the campus of the University of Miami.  We use Nancy Greene Hall.

 

When?

Saturday mornings, 9:30am-11:00am

Why?

Well, why not?  It’s FUN!  Yes, it can be work, but we purpose to enjoy the journey.
